Dear Experts,
I have a few materials which are batch managed. Total shelf life is maintained as 365 days and Min. Rem. Shelf Life is maintained as 30 days. In OMJ5, "Check Best Before Date/Production Date" is activated. To the best of my knowledge and as per SAP performance assistant, if this is activated, user must enter either the shelf life expiration date OR the production date of the material.
But when I'm doing a GR, system asks the Manufacturing date as mandatory. Even if I enter SLED, system is asking the MFG date.
User is not ready to enter the manufacturing date, they are ready to give the SLED/BBD only. Is there any settings so that system should allow the user to post GR if ANY ONE of the above is given? Any inputs would be really helpful.
