Product Interchangeability

Hi Experts,

I have two scenarios that are really conflicting to the process of Product Interchangeability

Scenario 1: There are Demands for Predecessor Product that are not passed as Substitution Demand in Successor Product but as Distribution Demand. As such, Purchase Requistion are being created.

When I ran consistency check, there is a warning message that Predecessor and Successor Product already exists in interchangeability group.

Am not sure what might be wrong as the setup is just the same. Direction is Full and Use-up: Yes

Will greatly appreciate your help as this is impacting our system greatly.
