You need to do that

Now you're looking a file in your Presentation, so in a directory of your network:

\\SAPSERVER\f\SAFT\IVAT\

so you have to speak about that to your basis, because if SAPSERVER is the server of SAP it belongs to Application too, but perhaps the path can be called in different way

Try to use this fm:

/SAPDMC/LSM_F4_SERVER_FILE

here you can see all Application Server, so you can see also the paths not mapped in AL11
