I have a situation where an employee no longer is associated with the technician role in the company. I have attempted to remove the role but receive the following error message "Cannot delete technician role. Linked to service call 12345". I found the Service Call and can see that the employee in question is assigned as the technician however the status is closed.
Trying to understand the reason why I am unable to delete the role even if the service call has been closed. In a scenario where an employee is no longer working for the company or no longer works in that role's department, how am I am able to delete the role without reopening the service call and changing the data?
