It was point 2.
The database itself had no prefixes. But all other DataWindows had "DBAUSER"."TABLE"."COLUMN" in their select syntax. I wondered what that was there for.. I added that to the syntax of d_dddw_mynewdropdown and it now works for all users.
Perfect. I will now go and document this fully so I can remember for future changes
